The Model 504 Four Channel Data Pattern Generator is contained in a 3 ½ inch chassis. One circuit card, the NFB002, provides the entire functionality. The NFB002 interfaces to the front panel and to delivers four independent PCM data streams with coherent clocks. Controlling the operation of the Model 504 is accomplished by the front panel keypad (optional remote serial RS232 control).

The Model 504 Four Channel Data Pattern Generator generates four independently controlled PCM data streams of selectable pattern lengths and bit rates. All features a performed on one circuit board, the NFB002. The NFB002 also has a 68K processor that interfaces to the front panel for keypad entry for unit setup configuration. The four independent data and clock outputs from the Model 504 can drive a 50 ohm load.
